What score do I need to pass the Series 66?+
You need 73% to pass.
Do I need the Series 7 for the Series 66?+
You do not need it to SIT the exam — no sponsorship or prerequisite is required to take the Series 66. You do need it to USE the Series 66 for registration: the Series 7 is a corequisite, so you must pass both, though they can be taken in either order. Together they satisfy the agent and investment-adviser state-law requirements.
Series 66 or Series 63 + 65?+
The Series 66 covers both in one sitting, but only counts for registration alongside the Series 7. If you are not pursuing the Series 7, take the Series 63 and 65 separately — the Series 65 stands alone with no corequisite.
